The Gummy Made by Growers
We’ve been growing our own cannabis since 2016. From seed, to rosin, to gummy – we see the whole process.
Even before cannabis, we were wine grape growers – planting our first vines in 1995. That experience in winemaking taught us the importance of preserving the unique character of each varietal. We’ve brought that same philosophy into our gummies – growing single strains and pressing them into hash rosin to capture the full experience of each one.
Our Harvest Process
Upon harvest, all of our cannabis is flash-frozen and processed into hash rosin – a full spectrum, solventless concentrate that preserves the full array of compounds in the plant that make each strain unique.
Living Soils
Our farming philosophy is to develop a bustling ecosystem in our soils, where microbes can break down organic fertilizers and beneficial bugs protect our plants from pests.
To avoid disturbing soil habitats, we layer rather than till. We plant cover crops to provide new habitats, nutrients, and aeration. All of our fertilizers are naturally derived, as well as our pest and disease control – consisting of chicken manure, compost tea, and essential oils such as cinnamon.
Leaf & Soil Samples
Routine soil and leaf samples are sent for lab analysis to determine exactly which nutrients we are lacking. Each strain has its own unique nutrient needs, which is why we test leaf samples for every strain in our field, then design individual fertilizing regiments to fit the needs of each strain.
Sun Grown
Outdoor farming has numerous benefits, including reduced carbon emissions and lower costs compared to indoor grows. This allows us to farm sustainably and offer premium products at affordable prices.
Exposure to the outdoors encourages plants to build up their defenses. Trunks grow strong to withstand variable winds, and importantly plants produce terpenes as a way to fend off pests and disease.
Sunlight contains a broader spectrum of rays than grow lights and, since it is a distant light source, its energy is distributed evenly, encouraging bud development across the whole plant.
